FERRY STEAMER IN GALE. •n„ cKTj-qph Press - CHRISTCHURCH, June 13. The ferry steamer Mararoa encountered a howling southerly wind, accompanied by torrential rains, shordv after leaving Pencarrow Heads ,ast night. Although the weather was boisterous the Mararoa made a , good passage, berthing at Lytteuon this morning at ten minutes to ten. \ heavy southerly winl and heavy, rain prevailed las! night, and snow fell on Cashmere Hills.
