CALLOUS MURDER OF BOY.

A. Horner, a well dressed man, aged 23, is charged with murdering a fivo-vear-old boy by drowning him in Salford Canal. It is alleged he asked the boy to accompany him to the canal. He there picked him up and threw him into the water. Then he knelt on the towing path and watched the boy drown. „ Another man failed to rescue the boy.
