To the Editor of the “Timaru Herald ' &ii- —We have read a lot ol letteia about the inconsistency of Coleridge power, which is very true, to our cost, and 1 think the public and manuiacturers have had quite enough Coleridge juice, so let’s turn it off. Ihe . fact that Christchurch is contemplat- , “ a scheme of their own, should prove that they are fed up with Coleridge, so if it is no good to them it is nf use to us. It seems ridiculous that our Power Board, can advocate such a scheme down here and to spend thousands of pounds, reticulating the surrounding districts with such an unreliable source of supply m view. II 'o don’t do something very soon we uill be burdened with Co endge loi \ei> many years. Would at not be bettei for us to go on with lekapo. No doubt we could sell North a lot of juice which would be of bene ' fit to them, knowing it was reliable, also for us, as the bigger the supply the cheaper it will be.
