Tlie Athens correspondent of the “Morning Post” says that in consequenco of the advance of L 1,000,000 from the Bank of England, the work of settling the refugees from Asia Minor has been expedited. Tito original 120,000 agricultural refugee families have increased sinco the beginning of the year by 20,000. Out of the total 73,000 were settled in Macedonia, 7500 in old Greece, and another 20,000 arc expected before the end of the year. The necessity of tho continuance of charitable aid through the “Save the Children,” and other funds is strongly emphasised.
