DEATH SENTENCE.
MURDERER TO PAY PENALTY.

Morse was found guilty of tho murder of Mrs Hunter and was sen fenced to death.
[Shortly after the arrival of the Medic from Sydney in February last, a passenger, Mrs Hunter, was visited aboard by a man named Horie Moist., and the two descended to the wharf, where after talking a while, a shot was heard. Airs Hunter dropped and died in a few minutes. Morse then shot him self, and was sent to hospital in a critical condition. Mrs Hunter was travelling to South Africa. It was stated that she left her husband m Ireland two years ago. Morse had been paying attentions to her, but was not encouraged-]_
