LOST WATCH RETURNED.
To the Editor of the “Timaru Herald.” Sir. —Years ago I missed a silvei watch, and assumed that some enterprising gentleman had relieved me oi it. This had been a present to me upon my first going to a public school in England an event which did not take place as recently as yesterday. It now turns out, however, that me watch was left, with a Timaru mm for repairs and forgotten. 1 would like, if I may, to thank this fnm (Messrs Bower and Ferguson), m your columns, for having now returned it to me, safe and sound, aud this attci an interval of thirteen years. I had forgotten that I lmd taken the watch to bo repaired, and had not left any address to which it could be sent. 1 am> CtC ' 11. GRIERSON. Geraldine, June G, 1924.
