A conference of the North Canterbury branch of the Farmers’ Union, passed the following resolution: —“That in the opinion of this conference it is timviso and impolitic to engage, in the strife of party politics, and that only general politics as they affect the lifo and' well-being of primary producers and the whole comrnnnity, should he tackled by the liTnion.”-
