GRIM PICTURE OF FUTURE GAS ATTACKS. f»y —(ViorrigbU. Received 9.5 p.m., June 6. LONDON, June 6. The Bordeaux correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph,” says:—“Emphasising that chemicals will probably decide the next war, the International Public Health Congress, said the possibility, and even the probability of bombing the civil population with poisonous gases must be admitted. Hence special training in the elementary facts of chemical warfare should be provided for medical men, teachers, boy scouts, members of the Y.M.C.A., and others. Anti-gas drills in schools, educational campaigns in the newspapers and cinemas, and organised sections of the community, should be supplied with gas masks in peace time, in order to act as guides to the rest. The only method of protecting young children would he sealed rooms, but municipal dugouts might be provided for mothers and children able to get thdre in time.
