At the Farmers' Onion conference to-day, it was decided: —‘‘That this meeting .strongly considers that the proposed meat, merger not in tho best interests of tho producers of the Dominion, and that the Meat. Board be asked to carefully watch the proposed mea t mercer in order to protect farmers and farmers’ freezing companies against exploitation and trusts.**
