THE LIBERAL CAMPAIGN.

MR WILFORD AT HAMILTON. By Telegraph—Press Association. HAMILTON, June 6. Mr T. M. Wilfcrd, leader of the Opposition, addressed a largely-at-tended meeting here. He covered the same ground as at Auckland the previous night, criticising the Government. Mr Wilford said if the Liberal Party came into power it would make strenuous efforts to open up markets iu the East for New Zealand produce, as a precaution in the event of the Dominion being shut out from the British market by large combines. Australian merchants were packing our butter and selling it in tins in the East. We could do the same. He criticised the Minister of Finance, and said Ministers should attend to their duties at Wellington instead ot' running around the country so much. Mr Wilford very sympathetically received, and was accorded a vote of thanks and conli donee.
