The seconu son Prince Jaime, suffers from congenital deafness and an impediment in his speech. The successor King Alfonso, therefore, will have to be the fifth child, Prince Juan now ten - ', years of age, unless the Prince of Asturias recovers. The Prince of Asturias (Prince Alfonso) was born on May 10th, 1907.
