Mrs Mallory scored another decisive victory in the Middlesex championship, defeating Mrs Clayton 6-4, 6-1, and qualifying for the final, in 'which she will meet Miss McKane.
Mrs Mallory hit hard and kept a telling length, but has not yet acquired accuracy consistent enough to win big championships in England. Miss McKane will thoroughly test her.
