BANKRUPCT BUILDER
REWARD FOR ARREST. PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM AUCKLAND, Thursday. A reward of £IOO is offered by Messrs Winstone, Ltd., for information that will lead to the arrest of George Morris, builder, formerly of this city. Morris, who was recently adjudicated a bankrupt, has disappeared, leaving, it is stated, debts amounting to £SOOO. These are in connection with building supplies, and also moneys due to his late workmen. As it has been ascertained by wireless that Morris did not leave by the Niagara, the creditors now think he is still somewhere in the Dominion, and the opinion would seem to be supported by tho fact that the motor car he used in journeying from job to job has apparently been taken away by him. That obviously opens up the possibility that ho may have gone on a journey, and may have met with an accident, and was thereby prevented from returning to meet his anxious creditors. Tho Supreme Court yesterday made an order declaring Morris bankiupt*.
