PERSONAL.
Mr J- Arbuckle, who recently vacated the office of secretary of the New Zealand Miners’ Federation, leaves next week for Australia, and later goes to America- on a- holiday trip. Archdeacon F. G. Evans, of Taranaki, who recently resigned his charge, has withdrawn ins resignation in deference to the wishes of the Anglican Bishop of Auckland (Dr. A. IV. Averill) and at tho request of the Church of England poople in Taranaki. The Hon. E. P. Lee (Minister of External Affairs, Industries and Commerce, and Justice) is expected back in Wellington from Samoa on Monday next.
