IMPORTANT JUDGAIENT. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND,'August 3, ]u a reserved judgment Mr Justice Salmond decided that an employee in any banking or mercantile institution is not entitled” to any benefits from a provident fund, or to any contributions thereto, should his service be severed prior to the date when the superannuation automatically operates. Neither fa an omployee when severing his connexion .with such institution entitled, in lieu of notice, to any other emolument than a percentage of his actual wages.
