For a long time past l!i6 ranger to the South Canterbury Acclimatisation Society has been waiting his opportunity to bring before tho Court a case of poaching, and late on Monday night, or in the early hours of Tuesday morning, his patience and perseverance were rewarded, to the extent that he apprehended five men who will ho charged with this offence.
