INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION. MANY' GOVERNMENTS INTERESTED. B v Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Router's Telegarms.)* LONDON, Aug. 29. A Geneva telegram states that in coniorinity with the resolution of tho International Labour Conference, held at Washington in 1919. an International Commission on emigration has been constituted, composed of onethird Government members, one-third workers and one-third emp'.overs. The Brazil. Chinese, French, Indian, and Japanese Governments have nominated representatives. Australia, Germany, United States, Poland, Italv. and Sweden have nominated the workers' delegates. South Africa. Argentina, Spain, Grcence, Czecho-Slovakia, and Switzerland have nominated employers' delegates. The president ol the Commission is Viscount C'avo (Britain). The International Labour Bureau has addressed a comprehensive questionaire on tho subject of emigration to 42 Governments, members of the League of Nations. The opinion of each Government is sought concerning all aspects of tho problem, and the possibility of harmonising diverse wages and international legislation. A reply is desired before November loth. The Commission will meet iu the spring at Geneva.
