H. Allchurch and Co. report for tho week ended August 14tli:— . We had a i-ajr entry of poultry, pigs, etc., and there is a keen demand lor good fowls. Prices realised were as follows:

Poultry-—Hons, good 7s 3d to 9s Gd, others (>s to 7s: roosters 5s bd to Its 6d • cockerels, good 7s 9d to lis, others 3s 6d to 7s 3d; pullets, Ss to 9s 6d; ducks to 8s 9d, all at per paid; geese to 7s 6d each.

Pigs.—Weaners. 20s, 225, 235. Produce.—Cauliflowers 4s to os, cabbages 3s to 4s 6d per dozen. . Fruit.—Apples, dessert 12s to 14s, cookers 6s to 9s t>d, pears 10s per bushel case. Walnuts, __ Is per lb. Eggs.—We are recevimg large con-signments-of South Canterbury Circle eggs, and at our auction sales on Tuesday and Friday a total clearance was effected.'
