SHOT AT AND WOUNDED

PARIS, 'August 13. As M. Venizelos was quitting Paris for Nice he was shot and slightly wounded at the railway station. Two young Greeks were arrested. One is an engineer and the other a journalist. Both came to Paris in July with the avowed purpose of seeking an opportunity to kill M. Venizelos. The engineer regretted their f.tilure. A bullet has been extracted from M. Veuizelos's shoulder.

ATHENS, August 15. The attack on M. Venizelos is causing popular demonstrations, also reprisal attacks on anti-Venizelosists. Several of their houses and newspaper offices have heen wrecked and set on fire. The exPremier Dragoumas was fatally shot.
