DEATH .FROM EXPOSURE,

AUCKLAND, August 1. , " Alhert "Wiseman, a married many wa< fishing in a, dinghy belonging to _S [•launch in the gulf, when the- launch, .containing a companion, drifted away* The occupant of the launch was raabia to start her, and she drifted until tha occupant secured help. The dinghy was recovered full of water, with Wiseman ! dead, evidently from exposure.
LITTLE GIRL'S DEATH BY GUNSHOT.
OHPJSTCHURCH, Aug. 1. Ait the adjourned inquest on the girl, Coventry, aged eleyen. a verdict waa returned that deceased died from a .ninshot wound in the stofadi. hut there was not sufficient evidence to sartisfy the Coroner as to whether the wound was self-inflicted or accidental.
