SINKING HOSPITAL SHIP. HOLLAND ASKS A QUESTION. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. AMSTERDAM, August 24. Jhe Hague reports that the Dutch shipping Council's finding at the inquiry. is that the sinking of the Ivoningen Regentes was caused bv a torpedo. The Dutch Government asks Germany to reopen a thorough inquirv seeing that Germany docs not recognise the immunity of hospital ships. ° Britain has assured Holland that no British torpedo was fired in the vicinitv. BRITISH TORPEDO BOATS SUNK. A Berlin official message states: Light naval, forces torpedoed three enemy torpedoers off Dunkirk. Two were sunk. All ours returned without casualty. |
