ILLEGAL DRILLING. INTERRUPTED BY POLICE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. LONDON, August 25Tho police discovered a body of men drilling by moonlight in the vicinity of Stokestown, in County Roscommon. ■When challenged the "drillers, who wero carrying dummy rifles, scattered, but- their instructor fired scvoral revolver shots at the police. The latter replied with carbines. . Some of the police wero injured. There wore uo arrests.
