[ RETURN TO WORK. ON THE FORMER TERMS. (Per Press Association.) "WELLINGTON, Aug. 12. In connection with the gas workers' dispute, the men held a meeting on Friday, and practically decided to go back, provided the company would take the whole of the men on again, leaving the conditions and pay to be adjudicated upon by a tribunal to bo mutually agreed upon. The men were met by Mr Hagger, Conciliation Commissioner, on Saturday afternoon, and they signified their preparedness to return to work on Monday, provisionally on all hands beintr taken back in the positions they occirm'ed previouslv.
