PEACE TALK.
THE STOCKHOLM CONFERENCE. LIKELY TO COLLAPSE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. Received 6.45 p.m., August 9tb. LONDON, August 8. The Allies' Conference in London has concluded. An Exchange Telegraph states that it is understood that the Conference again discussed the Stockholm Conference, and adds that it is rumoured that the Conference is likely to collapse.
