MINE SWEEPER SUNK, •., Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. • Received 5.5 'p.m., July Bth. * LONDON, July 7. The Admiralty announces that a mine sweeper in the Mediterranean was mined and sunk. Ten of the crew are missing. ' :',", FRENCH SUBMARINE SUNK. French official.—A French submarine was torpedoed and sunk by an.enemy submarine in the Mediterranean. Several officers and members of the crew were lost. Nine were saved. BRITISH DESTROYER LOST. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Assn. and Reuter.) , ~'*. Received 11.40 p.m., July Bth.."" LONDON, July 8. The Admiralty reports that the British destroyer 37 on July 6th was torpedoed and sunk in the North Sea. One officer and seven men were killed.
