DAMAGE AT ZEEBRUGGE.

AMSTERDAM, Aug. 28
The " Telegraaf " says it is now certain that the bombardment of Zeebrugge on Monday last damaged a number of submarines and destroyed one. Other accounts state that the German coastal defences were severely damaged, and that a number of heavy guns have been sent to Ger-
many for repair. The killed and wounded numbered over 200.
GERMANS IN THE BALTIC.
AMSTERDAM, Aug. 28
A German official message says:— Our cruisers bombarded the signal station at Dago. (Dago is an island, south of the entrance to the Gulf of Finland.)
AUSTRALIAN DESTROYERS
SYDNEY, Aug. 29
The destroye Torrens was successfully launched. Her sister ships, the Derwent and Swan, will be ready respectively for steam trials and launching in one month and two months. The Brisbane will be launched in October.
