SEA MINES.
MANY LIVES LOST. ON THE NORTH SEA. LONDON, Sept. 6. An exchange states that tho Wilson liner Rono with three hundred refugees, from Hull to Russia, struck a mine 40 miles off Shields. Trawlers landed two hundred of the survivors at Grimsby. Many were sent to the hospitals. Tho Press Bureau confirms this news, and adds that twenty Russian emigrants were lost. ■ ARRIVAL OF THE OTWAY. A LIGHT SHIP. FREMANTLE, Sept, 7. Owing to German cruisers in the Mediterranean the s.s. Otway did not call at Taranto. She brought no mails or manifests.
