FULLERS' PICTURES. Change night is always popular with Theatre Royal audiences., and last evening was 110 exception. There was a large audience, arid they were most appreciative. The? topical gazettes, particularly items depicting happenings on the Continent., are at present specially interesting and instructive, and in the "Gaumont Graphic,"' the audience liad much to see of interest. "Monkey Intelligence." was a unique sort of film, and showed" how the term 'artful as a monkey,' ' -ha5 s " its foundation in fact. Something out of the ordinary was prov ded in a Tiiaiinlrouser study in drama, '•Their Great B « Beautiful Dell." The story was given out in a most, interesting manner end the interest in it never flagged._ "Pny de Dome." :'s one of Pathe's-'m-asterpieees in scenery. rp hero is liii doubt that the latest Keystone nnrth-proviker, "Mabel's Nerve.'"' is the best as yet. Mabel Norman, one rf "the" artists in the Keystone eomb'nation was the pivot of the fun, and the laughter was continuous throughout. "Mabel's Nerve" should most certainly be included in all picture-goers Ist?. After the interval some considerable time was taken tip in the screening cf "When Iron and Steel Meat." an engrossing story in two acts, of an unscrupulous German iron-king. The 1 picture was just the sort to be appre- '<■ atod under the present circumstances. The final film of the evening, although hilled ;-.s a comedy sketch, incidenlally showod some splendid marine views, and j picture- of mammoth Atlantic "arevhonnds"' leaving New York. The o'r-ehe-tral must -was skilfnllv co- I .it- , ';'buted liv Mrs Hurdlrv pud her liand of musicians. Several lat r, sfc war bvd'.et'ns were also throw? noon the screen. The programme will be repeated to-night. THE LYCEUM. I The Lyceum was again well patronised last night, when the bi-weekiv | change of pictures was put on and j greatly enjoyed. The Patlie Gazette contained a good budget of topicar subjects drawn from far and near, and was followed by an interesting comedy dra-ma " Italian Love. 1 ' Of special interest- to ladies was a depiction of "the latest Paris styles in costumes. But the principal picture was a drama entitled "His Guilding Star." and this was a great favourite.- .The story has already appeared in print, and it is sufficient to say that the 3000 feet of film was thought to be all too little. The picture is beautifully coloured, and is of absorbing interest throughout. Tu the highly diverting comedy "Timing Cupid." Lillian AValker anil "Wallie Van were featured to the evident satisfaction of the audience, who also enjoyed an Edison drams* entitled " Resurrection of Caleb "Worth."' A welcome change was provided in a remarkably pretty scenic. "From Marseilles to Port Said." the changing scenes being followed witr: the closest interest. "Twentv Minutes of Love." a Keystone production, pi evided twenty minutes of the Ik artiest possible laughter, and very appropriately the patriotism of the people was apnealed to in a sDScial war fi'm entitled " Britain's Defenders," a picture which took on immenselv. The j same excellent programme will be shown to-night.
