Mr Fisher, who was interviewed by a reprcpresentativo of the "Morning Post" said th© admission of the Dominions to tho Council of tho Nation had revolutionised tho relations with tho Mother Country. All barriers ef reserve had been broken down, and mutual confidence established for all time. Community of interest was of the liighest immediate importance; and the vast possibilities created almost tempted him to wonder why they were admitted to tile very inmost confidence of tho Imperial Government. To-day tho Dominions had part in the Empire in all things, and no devolopmenta, however sudden, should mow he beyond pur understanding. SOUTH AFRICA'S APPRECIATION. CAPETOWN, May 31. Mr Smuts has announced Mr Botha's appreciation of the manner in which tho Home Government took the delegates into their confidence, and that its effect on inter-Imperial relations had produced the best impression throughout South Africa.
