RAILWAY MEN AT FAULT. Press Association —By Tel. —Copyright MELBOURNE, Jan. 26. The Richmond disaster inquiry lias concluded. Driver Allan was fined £3O for not sending a fireman to tlio signal box when detained by tho advanced starting signal. Tho fireman was fined £5. The guard of tho first train, was cautioned for not having a tail light burning. Signalman McDonald, of South Yarra, was dismissed the service, but recommended far a less responsible position. Driver Melville, of tie second train, was dismissed from tho service for not obeying signals. His fireman was found not guilty of a similar charge, Henry Heron, of Tenraka, who was driving Mr John McLnch!nil's No. 2 threshing mill, lost the seooad and third fingers of his left hand on Wednesday while putting the belt on the pulley. The little finger on tho same hand had been lost previously.
