JDalgety and Co. will hold a harvest horse sale at the Studholme. saleyaras on Thursday next, January 12th. Mr J. Kempthorne, land and estate agent, has given up business on his own account, to take up a position on the staff of Mr J. Imrie. Mr Kempthorne will assist in the- town sales division of the business. The practical knowledge and experience gained by Mr Kempthorne will be at the disposal of his old clients .in his new location. On Tuesday nest, at the Pleasant Point saleyards, Messrs Guiiwess and LeCren will hold their barest horse sale. . Present entries are 40 draught mares and geldings, and light harness horses, and from these in search of a good stamp of hortl oughtto be able to suit their 3nts~ A remarkable offer of land if. the Waikato, at 8s an acre for the freehold, is advertised to-day. That price, however, is for the whole Jblock .of 56,000 acres. A secondhand taxi-cab is advertised to-day, to be sold by auction, at Dunedin this day week. Mr John Imrie is . advertising this. morning for more properties to sell, to fill up blanks in his property register caused by recent sales.
