MR FISHER AND THE BOERS. Mr Fisher described the statement of the "Daily Chronicle" that while in South Africa he was studiously ignored by the Boers as absolutely unwarrantable. On the contrary he met with, courtesy, friendliness, and enthusiasm. The statement must have arisen from a misconception.
