Mr George Watts, of Timaru, left London for home on Friday last. Senator Ray has been appointed Lieutenant-Governor of Nova Scotia. The Hon. J. Mr Donald Grant, of "Winchester, has been appointed a judge of English Leicesters at the Loeston show to be held- to-morrow, and he will act in a similar capacity at the Palmerston North show.
