The following resolution also ap-pears:—-"Proposed by Mr Kenton and seconded by Mr "Watson': That the Presbytery should be given a vote of thanks far filling the supply for the next three months. Mr Lyall. Mr Mathews, and several others, said that th-e general opinion throughout the district was to this effect. The congregational meeting was then opened in the church, and twenty-five attended. The Moderator explained that tlie meeting was called to appoint a Minister to the charge.
