WAIMATE NOTES.
The Waimate Bowilng and Tenuis Clubs have decided to open the season on Thursday, the 28th inst-. The monthly meering of the AYailiiate Library Committee was held on Friday night. The librarian reported five new subscribers and £7 19s rereived in subscriptions. Mr Thomas* tender was accepted for magaziues fur 1911. Severai small accounts were passed for payment. 'lhe Waimate Branch of the British Foreign Bible Society held a meeting on Thursday night, "when it was reported that the collections for the year ending September 30fch amounted i-o £94 19s od. Other small items mado a total revenue of £97 17s Gd. It was derided to forward :£95 to the London headquarters, of which £9O 10s is a fr"e contribution to the Society's funds and £-1 10s is for magazines '.supplied.
