MEETINGS & BUSINESS NOTICES
The "Boccaccio" rehearsal will be held this week at the Society's Rooms on Friday, instead of to-night. There will be a committee meeting at the rooms on Thursday at S p.m. The South Canterbury Battalion. Band will give a concert in the Caroline Bay Rotunda this evening, commencing at 8 p.m., the programme of which appears in these columns. A collection wiii be made, the proceeds of which will go towards the expenses of the competing members of this band at the Dunedin contest. Shareholders in the C.F.C.A., are requested to remember that a special general meeting is to he held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, to confirm resolutions passed at the late annual rneeting.
Mr J. Imrie, the property man, draws special attention to liis list of properties on the seventh page. A social and presentation to Mr and Mrs A. Bisset is announced to be held in the Milford School on Friday evening.
The new Otipua Hall is to bo used again to-morrow evening for a concert and dance in aid of the piano fund.
The director of the Technical School gives notice that an examination for nluml>ers will be held at the school on Tuesday next. Applications are to be made by Saturday.
