WAIMATE NOTES.
At Knox Chureli, W.iimate, anniversary services last Sunday, the Rev. H. B. Gray, of North-east Valley. Dunce! in, was the preacher. The attendance at both services was very large. The Waimate High School Board held a special ■ meeting on Monday night, to consider what should be done in regard to office accommodation, which they have hitherto shared conjointly with the A. and P. Association. The hitter has now taken other offices, of which they oti'er the Board a part at £lO per annum, and the owner of the Arcade office—presently occupied by the Board—offers to continue the tenancy at a lower figure under certain conditions. As several members were absent it was decided to adjourn consideration to next Tuesdav's ordinary meeting.
