THE NODINE CASE.
AN OBSTINATE LITIGANT. Per Press Association. "WELLINGTON. Oct 11. A motion for a writ of attachment against Chas. Nodine, tailor, came before Judges Edwards and Cooper this morning. A week a*o the Court issued a declaration that Nodine had refused to sign a lease of Hannah's premises as ordered by the Court. Seven davs were allowed Nodine in which to comply: the lease was not signed, and as * Nodine still refused, the Court, after administering a severe rebuke, ordered him to be committed to gaol for three calendar months, at the end of that period, if the l<\o>e is not .signed by Nodine. the Court can oni'.r it to be signed by another person 011 his behalf, and ho will then be liable for the rent.
