DUNJiDIN, August 17. Cattle.—2l7 head were yarded, a larger yarding than has been the ease of late, and prices showed a drop of from 15s to £l per head on last week's rates. Hest bullocks to £l2 2* Od, good £lO to £ll 10s, medium £7 10s to £9, best heifers to £lO '7s Gd, good £7 10s to £9. Sheep.—24Bs fat sheep were penned. 1 rices were about tho same as last week's quotations. Extra heavy wethers to 245, best 18s Gd to 21s, best ewes to 18s Gd, good 14s to 16s, medium, lis Gd to 12s Gd. In fat lambs there was only a small yarding of 356, which sold vy to last week's prices.
