ACCIDENTS.
IXQI'EST AT WAIMATE. The Coroner (Mr T. Hutchison S.M.'i held an inquest yesterday afternoon at Waimate touching flu- death of Wic. Hayes, an old age pensioner, who was i'ouml dead en Sunday on a road i:orth of Waimate. A post morien examination had been made, and in acccrdaiire with, the medical evidence the verdict returned was that deceased came to his death from fatty degeneration of the heart.
