PLEASANT POINT, The. 'annual meeting of the PleasantPoint Presbyterian Church was held in tho church on Thursday afternoon, Tho Rev. Geo. King, occupied the chair, about fifty members being present, Tho annual report was read by Air Bishop, and as this was Iho first, meeting of the congregation .since the Pleasant Point charge severed its connection with Albury, Cave, and Cannington districts, members expressed satisfaction at the prosperous position of the church, it having about 105 members. Tho balance-sheet was read, but as a slight mistake had been made in ending the year on Julv 31sfc instead of dune 30th, it was decided to hold it over till a. future meeting of the congregation. King), and the Young Women's Christian Alissionarv report (road by the Rev. King), were all submitted to the coiigrogalion, and the greater part of tho afternoon had elapsed before the most imoortant business took place This had regard to the budding of the new church. It was aoroed to build, and that tenders be called immediately for its erection. The plans (drawn by Air Coulfhard-Alullions'l were submitted to tho congregation and aoproved. Tenders arc- to be called in three different materials, stone, brick, and fenoIt was decided to sell a section that bad been vacant- for years, and owned by ihe Sunday School, the proceeds to be held over till a future meelinp-.
