Mr AV. Jeffries, of Temuka, who has been in business in that town for a number of years has disposed of the same to Mr A. D. Aitkeu, of Christchurch, late managing accountant to Messrs George Davies and Co. Mr Aitken entered into possession on Friday, and will add to the present business a grain and produce department. Wo understand that Mr Jeffries has accepted the management of a wholesale firm doing extensive operations in New Zealand, with headquarters at Wellington.
