The gj. Corinna left Wellington at j 5.30 p.m. yesterday for Timaru, and I ie due here at 5 o'clock this evening, j to land a quantity of general cargo, j and to load for Dunedin. I The schooner Bellflower arrived somewhat unexpectedly from Dunedin! at 2 p.m. yesterday, and made fast to j the north-west buoy. • The schooner i will load a quantity of produce herei for Hokianga. J The large collier Waihora from Xew-| castle via Lyttelton arrived here at 9 a.m. yesterday. She has 2250 tons] Newcastle coals to land here, and will be in port for a few days. j According to timetable, the new Federal Houlder Shire liner Empire! Transport is to leave Liverpool on j Saturday for New Zealand ports, and J will be "due in Wellington towards the; end of August. j The Federal Houlder Shire liner Sus-j sex, left Bluff on Tuesday for Waitara' and Wellington. The steamer is due at Timaru about 9th pros, to load frozen meat and general for West of England porta, . The coastal steamer Te Anau arrived from Oamaru early yesterday morning, and landed 116 tons general cargo. The Teasel shipped about 250 tons produce. for northern ports, and was to sail for Lyttelton at 11 p.m. The collier Pukaki was -unable to complete discharging operations yes-' terday morning, the heavy, rain of the previous evening completely blocking the discharge of her cargo. The vessel was expected to leave for Oamaru at 12 o'clock last night. The Shaw, Snville liner Arawa left for. Lyttelton at 7.30 a.m. yesterday. Her cargo from this port comprised 83,000 carcases mutton and lamb, 3000 sacks of grain, 300 casks of tallow and - pelts, and a quantity of wool. The
Teasel leaves Lyttelton on July 7th for Wellington, where she will complete ; t loading. The Arawa is to leave Wel- ' Kngton- finally on the 14th Jnly for London via Monte Video, Teneriffe and Plymouth. The Minister for Marine (Hon. J. A. Millar) has ordered a magisterial .enquiry into the fire on the Indradevi, which will be held on Saturday next. The vessel was surveyed on Monday, and some repairs will he carried out "at Auckland. It is not known yet whether all the damage will he repaired, but it is likely that the vessel will come south to put out cargo, before the balance of repairs is carried out. fcATTDERDALE ABAXDOXZD. Per Press Association. GREYMOTJTH, June 29. The Lauderdale has now been definitely abandoned. The crew were shipped to "Wellington to-night. The -nautical enquiry is fixed for next Wednesday.
