Amongst the jewellery an old hair pendant, studded with seed pearls, and a miniature of a lady surrounded with brilliants, both lent by Miss Elworthy of Christchureh have been much admired. Mrs Orbell has some most interesting curios, "among these being a chatalaine two hundred years old, a. blister pearl pendant, 200 years old, an old clasp oramented with diamonds, dug up from an old church, small black lace parasol with jewelled handle and ferrule. And an enamelled bracelet belonging to Mrs Hunter-Weston has been greatly admired. Mrs Herbert Elworthy's old Egyptian pendant and Mrt Feilden's antique torquoise and miniature,

and Mrs Loughnans necklace and cross, Mrs Wigley's nn'niaturesand old jewellery are all very valuable. Also worthy of mention is the exquisite miniature in ivory of the Hall of Del-, hi, lent by Miss Ehvorthy, which is so suggestive of the luxuriant art of the East.
