A. peasant girl of seventeen at Zakharova, near Tomsk, in Siberia, onraged at her uncle taunting her with flightiness, killed her 12 year old brother i\-itli an axe, broke her mother's spine, and cut oif her arms, and grievously wounded her unclo. She was finally arrested while engaged in an assault on her aunt. SENTENCE ON A NTFRSE. Received 10.15 p.m., June 3rd. SYDNEY, June 3. Nurse Withey was found guilty of the manslaughter of a young woman by means of a certain operation, and was sentenced to 14 years' penal servitude. ST. PETERSBURG, June 3. Madame Muravieva has been arrested for assisting Dr Patchenko in the various cases of poisoning. Lyassy is a cousin of the Countess Tarnovslca.
