Per Press Association. ■ WELLINGTON, May 25. _ Colonel Collins stated last night that the necessary work to complete the Treutham range had been authorised by the Government, and instructions had been given to put the work in hand at oncc. The improvements included the further extension of the Sonierville Range, the erection of thirteen Ralston targets on the Somer- j ville butt, the removal of the present buildings to the fear, the enlargement | of the mess room, making up new firing mounds on Seddon Range ,to permit of firing being carried on at 200, 309, 500 and 600 yards, the construe- . tion of a new kitchen and bakers' oven, water supply extension and the completion of the telephone extension. There will be accommodation for 75 targets at 200, 300, 500 and 600 yards and 50 targets for 800, 900 and 1000 yards.
