The quantity of wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 4.095.000 quarters, and for the Continent 1,900,000 quarters. The Atlantic shipments for the week total 278,000 quarters, and the Pacific 15,000 quarters. The total shipments to Europe this week amount to 1,240,000 quarters including 129,000 quarters from Argentine, 580.000 quarters from Russia, 76.000 quarters from India, and 52,000 quarters from Australasia.

Mr Lie-lit, the sugar expert, estimates that- the production lias decreased by 204,000 tons. The prespects of the season are unchanged.
