The report of the Murray Waters Cominission urges that except for stock and domestic supply for settlement within a reasonable distance, streams for irrigation should he deemed of paramount use in the Murray system. | It advocates the canalisation of the ' Murray and MurTYiTcbidgee by means of locks and weirs, and suggests that in tli© event of New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia failing to come to an agreement regarding the regulation of the river and its tributaries,., an agreement to some purpose ho entered into between nny two of .the States eoTK-ertiad ; also the appointment of art Interstate Board to consider the whole 1 question.
