TEMUKA CLUB.

The annual meeting of the Temuka Hockey Club was lield on Thursday night, Mr \V. ]teeve9 presiding. The report referred to the success of the year. The rec-epits were £l6 13s 3d, and expenditure £l2 10s lid. The report and balance-she-et were adopted. The election of offioers resulted as follows : —Patron, Mr J. Holwell; President, Mr "W. H. Reeves; Vice-Presi-dents, Messrs Buxton, Pollock, Laslilie, DaVis, Smart, Brown, Roulston, and Dr Rugg ;Captain, Mr F. Smith; .Vice-Captain, Mr A. L. Davis; Secretary, Mr E. 6. Miles; Treasurer, Mr F. Smith; Committee, Messrs Double, Prosser,' McDonald and Whitehead; Delegates to Sports' Associations, .Messrs Lashlie and Metson; Selection Committee, Messrs Smith, Reeves and Lashlie. Nine new members were elected and it was decided to leave .tlie subscriptions the same as last year and enter two teams for the hockey competitions. The opening day was •fixed for the. 7th April and the secretary wa£ instructed to try and arrange a match .with. St. Luke's Chib, Christ''enurcli, for Easter. WIMMERA CLUB. ...•The t<bird annual . meeting of the Wimmera Hockey Club was well atatondted, and Mr "VV. Smith (coach) '.presided. The oliairman congratulated the club;on.their successes last season, they in the competition, and runihng' -up verv well in the §in-lt-'side The club 'had held a very bail ; during' the season. The treasurer reported. a small "debit balaqoa. whioh it was decided to wipe off at once! A rote of thanks was passed to all who helped to make a success of the club, especially to the offioers. following were elected to the respective offices and duties: — Patron, Dr Dryd.en: President, Mrs TV. Cookson; Vice-Presidents, Mesdames W. Anderson, C. Wotten, F. X.- Dunn, Messrs P. Campbell, W. Hfwlay, J. Emslie. W. Aitken, F. J. E. Hurdley; Secretary, A. Wakefield; Treasurer. V "Wotten; Field Captain, L. Gill; Club do., L. Hurdley. One member resigned, and six new members we're proposed. It was decidet to open the season at the beginning of April.
