The Broken Hill branch of the Amalgamated Miners' Association has adopted a resolution that recognises that militarism in any shape or form is bitterly antagonistic to the best interests of the working class. The brancli views with alarm the growth of the cadet system; and calls upon its members and the workers generally to stamp out this pernicious influence by refusing to become identified or allowing their sons to join cadet companies.
